The sun sinks into the river, the evening falls. In the foreground are three men in a boat.
Two cows walk in the wide landscape on the right. On the horizon is a mill. On the left side of the river is a row of houses along a road with a few trees next to it. In the foreground are two people with dogs. A bridge without a railing connects the fields.
