Na een succesvolle deelname in 2025 keert Kunsthandel P. de Boer dit jaar terug naar Art Island: de kunstbeurs die plaatsvindt in een unieke en inspirerende setting! Op het Forteiland in IJmuiden presenteert de galerie een zorgvuldig samengestelde selectie werken van hedendaagse kunstenaars en oude meesters.
Tijdens deze editie ligt de nadruk op trompe l’oeils: schilderijen die het oog misleiden. Naast oude meesters uit eigen collectie toont Kunsthandel P. de Boer werk van Lieven Hendriks en Lisa Couwenbergh.

After a successful participation in 2025, Kunsthandel P. de Boer returns to Art Island: the art fair that takes place in a unique and inspiring setting! On the Forteiland in IJmuiden, the gallery presents a carefully curated selection of works by contemporary artists as well as old masters.
During this edition, the emphasis is on trompe l’oeils: paintings that mislead the eye. In addition to old masters from its own collection, we will show work by Lieven Hendriks and Lisa Couwenbergh.

About the gallery
The gallery was established in 1922 and has always been located in the centre of Amsterdam. Nowadays we are in a late 17th century canal house, decorated with antique furniture, on the Herengracht.
