This portrait of a young lady with a ruff was once ascribed to Hendrick Pot. It fits in the tradition of portrait painters from the second quarter 17^th century who painted small scale portraits like Pot, Thomas de Keyser.

The author of the Thesis on Hendrick Pot dismissed the attribution to Pot in 2012.
